Ohio-born, New York-based. I write about money, memory and the quiet moments that run underneath it all.

Intro

Writer with a knack for big feelings

—about money, markets and everything we don’t say out loud.

By day, I write about investing—how to grow your money, avoid the kind of mistakes that keep your group chats buzzing and decode why passive investing might just be a polite way of admitting we’re all kind of lazy.

My work lives where markets meet human behavior. At the end of the day, finance shouldn’t feel like an earnings call, even when it’s complicated.

I’m currently writing a novel (and not sharing details because I love a good surprise). I believe the best stories, financial or fictional, uncover what we hide, what we carry and what we learn to let go of.

If you’re here for smart takes on money, meaning and maybe a few random takes on life, you’re in the right place.

Let’s talk. Or, at least admit that we’re all always feeling a bit more than we let on.

Cheers.

My CV

Before joining Bankrate, I worked at Morgan Stanley Wealth Management, where I helped lead content strategy on wealth planning, portfolio allocation and retirement strategies. I also oversaw wealth management content at E*TRADE, making sure retail investors had access to thoughtful, high-quality insights.

Beyond my work in content strategy, I’ve reported on markets and investing for The Wall Street Journal, Barron’s and The Business Journals. I’m passionate about making investing accessible and distilling current events in a way that makes you stop and think about what’s really going on.
